Bluey’s World

Andrew Kay and Associates

Bluey’s World was a massive production filled with intricate details and moving parts, bringing the beloved children’s show to life in an immersive, real-world experience. As part of the design team, I was responsible for illustrating Bluey-themed artwork that seamlessly integrated into the scenic and prop elements of the Bluey House in Pavilion One.

MY ROLE

As a graphic designer on the project, I developed key scenic illustrations and prop artwork to ensure the world felt authentic to the show’s aesthetic while being visually striking in a physical space.

    • Maintained visual consistency with Bluey’s animated world while adapting it for real-world fabrication.

    • Focused on key environmental storytelling to ensure an engaging experience for visitors.

    • Illustrated the entry statement, setting the tone for the immersive experience.

    • Designed backyard greenery, including hedges and trees, to recreate Bluey’s vibrant outdoor setting.

    • Developed exterior window elements, maintaining the look and feel of the show’s distinctive home.

    • Created hallway niches filled with Easter eggs, giving fans special moments to discover throughout the space.

    • Helped bring one of Australia’s most beloved children’s shows to life in an immersive, interactive way.

    • Ensured the seamless transition from animation to physical space, making the world feel real.

    • Delivered detailed, high-quality scenic elements that enhanced the visitor experience and stayed true to the Bluey brand.
